There has been some exciting news circulating recently about our upcoming indoor/outdoor four season snowpark at Heritage Farm! We are very thankful for all of the wonderful interest and inquiries. Many people are working hard to make great things happen for our amazing Appalachian Community here in the Wayne County, West Virginia mountains. As with most large scale projects, there are a lot of moving parts and much still to be done but we are so grateful for the quality workmanship and skill that resides here in our region to take on a world class challenge - just like our ancestors. Please stay tuned for more official announcements in the next few months!

While the snowpark is being built, we invite you to explore and experience our adventure park, bike park, animals, museums, artisans, and upcoming Fall Festival and Christmas village. Visit Sept. 5 through Nov. 2, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mountain Rim Bike Park is closed on Thursdays and Fridays through the end of the season. Enjoy the trails on these Saturdays: August 3, 10, and 17. The entire Farm is closed the last two weeks of August.

The entire place is lovely, clean, well kept! The artisans were just the nicest people, we spent time talking to, and learning, from each one. The museum collections are amazing! I was shocked at all the great items and the extensive amount you’ve collected. And the trains are so cool! What you have on display puts a lot of other big name museums to shame, and we’ve been to plenty!

Even the other attendees were well mannered and courteous! It was full of people, but not at all overly crowded.

Nothing was overpriced, not even the food. And the food was great! We had a pepperoni roll and a BBQ. The pepperoni roll was right on point for WV! Both delicious!

I truly hope someone reads this, I wasn’t sure who to tell how much we enjoyed the whole evening and that we just fell in love with Heritage Farm!
